” This particular example of the Sea-Dweller Ref: 1665 came after production of the Double Red Sea-Dweller Ref: 1665, from 1967 to 1977. Keeping the same reference number, it was produced for a short period of just 5 years, with the current example having been manufactured in 1978. The most notable difference was the replacing of red text on the dial with white writing, hence the nickname ‘Great White’, bestowed upon it by collectors”.

A fantastic unpolished full set Rolex Sea-Dweller Ref:1665 from 1978.
This has the coveted Mark 1 dial, wonderful coloured lume plates with matching hands, also the lume pip at 12 on the insert matches. The 93150 Rolex steel bracelet is also original and date coded period correct. The watch also has its Super Dome crystal, which give the Sea-Dwellers a distinctive look. Sold with its original box, papers (punched serial number) booklets, leaflets and also with its swing tag.
