The Arkade is one of four inaugural models introduced by A. Lange & Söhne at their first revival presentation on 24th October 1994. The larger Grand Arkade, was launched in 2002 measuring 38mm x 29.5mm. Delivered in variants of platinum, yellow, white and pink gold such as this example it was produced for only a short three years from 2002 to 2005.
This is a a rare watch, try finding another and this beauty is cased in 18ct pink gold and the dial is satin over solid 925 silver. It is fitted with the iconic outsized date apertures at 12 o’clock, counterbalanced with a small seconds subsidiary at 6 o’clock. Inside the stunning case which is 9mm thick is the manual-winding in-house caliber L911.4, the finishings are off the charts and all this can admired through its sapphire case back. Combining its rarity, unusual shape and stunning condition this Grand Arkade is a collector’s dream and guaranteed to stand out at the next GTG.
