– Paul Maudsley

Incorporating a flyback function which allows the chronograph to be reset without stopping it first. The Cal.28-520C has the Geneva seal and Patek Philippe changed to their own Seal in the spring of 2009. The dial of the Ref:5980 retained the distinctive Nautilus design elements and the chronograph registers were ingeniously combined into “bull’s eye” counter, creating a strong aesthetic.
The present example from circa 2008 with its Blue dial is preserved in excellent condition and was fully serviced by Patek Philippe UK in February 2025 (so it is still under its 24 month warranty) This watch was service sealed until our opening to photograph and inspect, so you really are getting an excellent condition example, which is ready to wear and enjoy. It comes with its Patek Philippe lacquer box, outer card, associated* booklets/ instructions and a copy of its Patek Philippe service letter and Watch Register Certificate.n
* the booklets are date coded for 2015, replacing earlier examples.
