Rolex had shaken things up with the launch of this watch in 2010. We had seen a green bezel Submariner before in the Ref:16610LV back in 2003 and made to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Submariner, but nothing so bold as a vibrant green dial and the use of Cerachrom for the green bezel.
Inside was their Rolex caliber 3135 with its chronometer certification and 48 hours of power reserve and the case was also now in 904L steel, an upgrade over the previous 316L grade. The new steel bracelet was the EasyLink extension clasp system allowing the wearer to change the size with ease. The production lasted until 2020 and this example I’m selling is in fantastic condition, it comes with its original Rolex box and guarantee card from the Air Watch Center SA Switzerland, dated 4th February 2014. A true classic ready for the next owner.
